During the third quarter of 2021, the food delivery market in Central America saw notable trends across the top five applications. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

DiDi Food - Food Delivery experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from 125K in late June and peaking at around 191K by mid-August. Active users also grew steadily from 1.4M in early July to approximately 1.6M by the end of September.

Rappi: Market and Food Online saw fluctuating but generally stable weekly downloads, ranging between 117K and 140K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline from 2.1M in June to 1.9M by the end of September. Revenue increased gradually from $4 in late August to $18 by the end of September.

Wabi: Online Convenience Store showed modest download numbers, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 13K and 18K. Active users remained stable around 120K throughout the quarter.
